Fjärdlång

You get to Fjärdlång by kayak, your own boat or a ferry. There are cottages and hostels available for accommodation, a kiosk with some snacks and row boats available for rent. Walk over hills and through pastures with curious sheep and cows.
Inspired by the contemporary love for the archipelago, the finance man and art lover Ernest Thiel bought the island and had a beautiful house built on Fjärdlång. This building is a hostel today. The island is part of a nature reserve that also include the Myggskär islets on which you can find two smaller cabins to overnight in, first come first serve.
