Simpnäs

On southern Väddö, in the northern archipelago, you will find Simpnäs. From here you can take the boat to Arholma all year round. Simpnäs has a small convenience store, a kiosk, and a café open in the summer.

Right above the harbour there is a restaurant with a lovely view. A popular attraction is the Björkö-Arholma Seamen’s Association museum, where you can learn about the glory days of sailing ships on Björkö during the 17th century. If you go even further south you will reach Skeppsmyra with its classic archipelago nature, seaside, beaches, and a small guest house.
