Kabyssen is a natural meeting place in Vaxholm with a large outdoor area by the harbor. Opening hours depend on the weather and demand (we close earliest 10 pm and latest 2 am).
The archipelago hotel Waxholms Hotel was founded in 1902 and is beautifully located in Stockholm’s archipelago with an amazing view of the Vaxholm bay and Kastellet. It is just magical to fall asleep and wake up by the water. The hotel rooms are decorated in a classic cozy style. You can enjoy good food in one of our restaurants, Matsalen or Kabyssen.
The main attraction in the hotel is the traditional restaurant Matsalen. It is a restaurant with a rich history and a unique location at the harbor in Vaxholm. The beautiful and grandiose view from our restaurant really has to be experienced! It makes the food taste even better.
Matsalen is a cash free restaurant, and you can make a payment by credit card or Swish.
