At Siaröfortet hostel you can sleep well and comfortably in one of our 47 beds, just like a soldier would ages ago after a whole day’s military exercises in the mountain facility. Let us take care of you and soak in the historic atmosphere of this charming building which was built in 1916.&nbsp;

Siaröfortets glamping tents are inspired by the island’s military history. Here you can stay comfortably in a cozy double bed and wake up to the sound of waves lapping on the shore and birds chirping. Breakfast is served at the tent.&nbsp;If you have small children, extra beds can be provided in the tent.&nbsp;

The guest harbor at Siaröfortet on Kyrkogårdsön is located on the southeast side of the island, protected from the wind in the main strait. There is a U-shaped jetty with buoys for overnight guests where you pay a fee.&nbsp;A bit further south, closer to the hostel there is also a day jetty for day guests that come to visit the museum and restaurant. At the day jetty you can stay for free during the day.&nbsp;

Enjoy great food in a rustic and historical setting. You can sit inside or outside and admire the view while you eat.&nbsp;The restaurant is open as a small café during low season where you can get a coffee and some fika. &nbsp;

The sauna/relax area can be rented for an hour at a time. A booked hour costs 500 kr. You pay and get the key in the reception at the hostel Skärgårdspensionatet.
