Roland Svensson museum
Welcome to the Roland Svensson Museum at Möja, all year round. In the summer we are open every day, and the rest of the day you can book a time when you would like to visit.
Roland Svensson (1910-2003) is an acclaimed and loved Swedish artist and writer. His paintings and descriptions of the Stockholm archipelago and its inhabitants will forever be an integral part of Sweden’s cultural history. His works (such as the classic "Skärgårdsliv i gången tid") are valuable documentation of the people that lived in the archipelago not so long ago. Many of his works are on display at the Swedish National Museum, the art museums of Malmö and Gothenburg and at Prince Eugen’s Waldemarsudde.
