Gustavsberg

Gustavsberg Ead0003 Gustavsberg

The quaint town of Gustavsberg, a half hour bus ride from Stockholm, is the birthplace of the Swedish porcelain. The original Porcelain factory that was founded in 1825 is still used today and is now Sweden’s only working porcelain factory.

Down at the harbour you will find Gustavsbergs Porslinsmuseum (the porcelain museum), an art gallery and outlet stores with great offers on popular brands. Parts of the factory buildings are today used as studios by around 100 craftsmen and potters.

Not far from Gustavsberg you will find Artipelag – a spectacular art gallery with art shows, activities, and a restaurant.
