Grinda in the central Stockholm archipelago is one of the most accessible islands in the archipelago. After only an hour boat ride you arrive at an island with archipelago nature with pine and deciduous forests and bathing cliffs that slope down into the ocean.

The island is a great destination for the whole family. Both the south and north side have child friendly places to swim at, and Grinda farm has many animals to admire.

Grinda Wärdshus has a restaurant and a hostel, and at the water’s edge you will find Framfickan, a popular bar that also serves simple meals. Grinda also has a farm shop, a café, and a tenting area. During the summer there are activities such as music nights, a regatta and grill barbecue nights.

Regarding the nature reserve

Grinda is a nature reserve managed by the Archipelago Foundation.

You can read all about the rules for nature reserves at the Länsstyrelsen.
