Bullerö

Röda hus på Bullerö klippor.

Furthest out in the archipelago, outside of Nämdö, is Bullerö archipelago with its islands and islets. At the main island of Bullerön you will find an untouched but well-maintained archipelago community in a beautiful and barren landscape.

The island has a guest house where you can stay the night, as well as many nice popular natural harbours to anchor in. The neighbouring islands also have three homesteads that you can rent over the weekend or for a full week. At Bullerön you can hike along paths that lead you over flowering meadows, go for a swim at a cliff beach or just enjoy being one with nature. The artist Bruno Liljefors owned the island at the start of the 20th century, and his hunting cabin is now a museum open during the summer.

Regarding the nature reserve

Bullerön is a nature reserve that is managed by the County Administrative Board, where you also can read all about the rules for nature reserves here.
