Not too far from the mainland lie the islands of Naantali. Sprinkled like stars in the Baltic Sea, these islands are renowned for their beauty and tranquility. The northern islands are part of the main Archipelago Trail, while the islands between Naantali and Nagu are part of the trail’s shorter version. It is best to travel slowly here, taking time to enjoy the homely cottages, elegant hotels, and welcoming restaurants. There are also plenty of pearls to discover, like the medieval church of Rymättylä. With a well-established road and ferry network, it is easy to hop from one island to the next.
