Botanical garden

Situated on the island of Luonnonmaa, Kultaranta is home to the President of the Republic of Finland’s summer residence and garden. Hectares of forest and parklands are found around the beautiful granite building, which was designed by Lars Sonck. The garden here is one of the main attractions in Naantali, and travelers are welcome to admire its landscaped vistas on guided tours. These tours are organized in the central part of the garden, known as the Locket, where thousands of roses bloom every year. It’s no wonder that it has earned the nickname, ‘mini-Versailles’.
