Enjoy the festive spirit as Stockholm’s archipelago transforms into a winter wonderland. Here, you'll find a selection of Christmas markets well worth a visit.

In November and December, the archipelago comes alive with stalls, Santas, crafts, local delicacies, mulled wine, and warm fires. Visit to discover unique and personal gifts at markets filled with the scent of mulled wine, all with the sea as a glittering backdrop.

Almviks brygga


At Blidö’s Christmas market, you’ll find smoked, pickled, and cured fish for the Christmas table, along with crafts from nearby islands and the mainland. You can also take the fery to Blidö on a special Christmas-tour where a meal is served.

Dalarö Christmas Market

December 7, 10 am–3 pm
The Square and Tullhuset, Dalarö


Exhibitors offer crafts, locally produced delicacies, honey, baked goods, cheese, textiles, and artisanal products – gifts for everyone.

Ljusterö Christmas Market

December 7, 10 am–2 pm
Ljusterö Bygdegård


Enjoy shopping and delicious refreshments, including coffee, saffron buns, and mulled wine. Welcome to Ljusterö!

Möja Christmas Market

December 7
Möja Dansbana


Knitted items, sausages, and coffee. Pot-holder lottery, Christmas crafts, coffee, and local handicrafts. At 4 pm, the family movie Jönssonligan will be shown.

Norrtälje Christmas Market

December 8, 11 am–4 pm


A traditional Christmas market on the second Sunday of Advent in central Norrtälje, perfect for a stroll among stalls and shops.

Nynäshamn Godsmagasinet

November 23–24, November 29–December 1, December 6–23, 10:30 am–4 pm


Vernissage on Saturday, November 23
This market is focused on crafts: knitted, sewn, woven items, jewelry, ceramics, glass, woodwork, wreaths, Santas, and candles for wrapping and gifting. Easily reached by commuter train to Nynäshamn station.

Nynäshamn Fishing Harbor

December 7–8


The second Advent weekend brings market stalls to life for a genuine Christmas market experience. Candy, cheese, sausages, wild game, pralines, honey, tea, sheepskin, Christmas trees, and Santa awaits children's wish lists on stage by the harbor huts. Easily accessible by train and bus.

Oaxen Christmas Market

November 30, 11 am–3 pm
Bygdegården Gillet


Traditional handicrafts, homemade goods, lottery, and Santa’s visit, along with a café and outdoor grill. Oaxen Brewery will also be open.

Ornö Christmas Market

December 14, 10 am–3 pm
Västergården


Exhibitors offer food and crafts, with everything from local produce and baked goods to knitwear and paintings.

Sandhamn, Seglarhotellet

November 30, 11 am–3 pm
A charming experience. Warm yourself by the fire, listen to Christmas carols sung by the choir, and find beautiful decorations and gifts for the whole family.

Siggesta gård Christmas Market

December 7–8, 11 am–4 pm


The Christmas market at Siggesta Gård is always a popular attraction. Here, you’ll find everything from exhibitors to pony rides – and, of course, charmingly decorated buildings to enhance the festive mood.

Vaxholm Christmas Market

December 7–8, 11 am–4 pm
Rådhustorget


In the town square, stalls offer roasted almonds, crafts, mulled wine, and everything you can imagine. Why not pick up your Christmas tree while you’re there?

Utö Christmas Market

Step ashore and feel the holiday spirit from the festively decorated stalls. Take a short walk up the hill, where Santa arrives by boat.

Värmdö Christmas Market

December 1, 10 am–4 pm


Enjoy a cozy atmosphere with delicious treats, quality crafts, lotteries, and a fish pond at Värmdö Bygdegård.

Wira Bruk Christmas Market

November 29–December 1
Friday 12 pm–4 pm, Saturday–Sunday 10 am–4 pm


Step through the gates to find everything from edible treats for the Christmas table to unique gifts. The market is spread across the outdoor grounds and indoor museum at Wira Bruk.
